Myoung received an associate of applied science from Bergen Community College in 2008. She went on to earn a master of science in nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2012, where she also completed the nurse practitioner program. She earned her board certification in adult-gerontology care in 2013.
