Dr. Marivi De Jesus has been practicing pain medicine and interventional pain management for more than 20 years. At United Medical, Dr. De Jesus helps improve patients’ ability to function while reducing their dependence on medication. She utilizes a variety of interventional techniques to relieve chronic pain and improve a patient’s quality of life.
Dr. De Jesus obtained her medical degree in the Philippines and completed her residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001. She followed that with a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology and one in pain management in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
Prior to joining United Medical, Dr. De Jesus helped establish a pain management clinic in an NYU-affiliated hospital in Brooklyn, New York – and served as its director for 16 years. She has also previously worked as an attending anesthesiologist, providing anesthetic services during surgery.
