J. Antonio Viera is a board-certified nurse practitioner who has been caring for patients in Bayonne, New Jersey, since 2008. Antonio believes people are more than their medical conditions, so when he treats patients, he takes all aspects of a person’s health into account – mind, body, and spirit.
Antonio became a registered nurse in 2008. He then earned his bachelor of science in nursing from New Jersey City University in 2011. He went on to receive his master of science in nursing from Rutgers University in 2015, where he also completed the nurse practitioner program.
Prior to joining United Medical, Antonio was a combat medic in the U.S. Air Force. He has led humanitarian missions to the Dominican Republic, where he ran nurse-managed clinics to provide medical aid to impoverished communities.
