COVID Update
Getting a COVID test or vaccination is as easy as calling the nearest United Medical office to make your appointment!

Our COVID Protocols: Continuing to Keep You Safe
To continue to protect our patients, staff, and the community at large, the following COVID safety protocols remain in effect unless otherwise indicated:
- Masks that completely cover the nose and mouth are mandatory while in our offices. Please do not remove the mask unless so instructed by your healthcare provider.
- We will continue to identify patient risk and possible exposure to COVID-19, including asking about whether a patient is currently experiencing any symptoms – such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath – as well as asking about a patient’s recent travel history or possible exposure to someone with COVID.
- We ask that if a guest accompanies a patient to an office visit, it be limited to one adult guest.
If You Are Not Feeling Well
Here are some tips and guidance if you’re not feeling well and unsure if it is related to COVID:
- Consider using telehealth to meet with one of our providers.
- If your symptoms are similar to a mild cold (e.g., congestion, runny nose, sore throat) and you are generally healthy, it is recommended you limit your exposure to others and monitor your symptoms. If your symptoms intensify, please call your United Medical provider for any necessary treatment.
- If you may have been exposed to COVID-19 and are experiencing symptoms such as a dry cough, fever, and shortness of breath, please call your United Medical provider. The office will follow screening guidelines and advise you of next steps.
- If you experience any of the emergency signs and symptoms of COVID-19 in adults, including difficulty breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, confusion, bluish lips/face and/or difficulty waking up, call 911 immediately and advise medical personnel you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms that may be related to COVID-19.
Older adults and people of any age with underlying health conditions, such as lung disease or heart disease, are at an increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19. However, for most people, the immediate risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus that causes COVID-19 is considered to be low.
